AJ411 Violin Transducer Bridge
Bullet These transducer bridges are designed to deliver a more natural sound from solid, semi-solid or skeletal body instruments in the violin family by simulating body resonance within the pickup itself, whilst retaining all the freedom from feedback and other advantages offered by such instruments.

There is continuous pickup along the top of the bridge - just as you would have with a normal classical violin.

NOTE: It is possible to fit the AJ411 to an acoustic violin, but the tone produced is almost cello-like - as if the instrument has two bodies!

Bullet Fitting is straightforward - the feet can be trimmed up to the bottom of the side plates, and up to 1mm can be taken off the top, if necessary.

Bullet If you want to change the socket, the end unscrews. The twin cables are linked together in parallel, but a degree of stereo separation is possible by splitting the 2 outputs.

Bullet The best volume and tone is obtained by operating into a high impedance, ideally 1 Megohm or more, but anyway at least 250k (bear in mind that most P.A.s marked with 'high' and 'low' input channels are for microphones, which are around 50k or 200 ohms, i.e. medium/low). However most effects units (even on standby), stage amps, valve amps etc. may be driven directly by the transducer, with excellent results.
